Things are not always what they seem

What tells you that the path you walked by choice or inevitably has any good in it, disregarding all that is linked to darkness that is. Is it the immediate result that decides OR the overall net result that encompasses the whole matter? Or would you even be able to see it if it's not so balantly smacked in your face or if you had not close your inner eye, even for a moment? Although most of the time, things are murky and uncertain but sometimes and certainly today, some things just shine through bright and clear.

This morning, I was supposed to be visiting my sister's school with my parents yet I did not end up going due to my less-than-pleasant lavatory visit. I sat at home grimacing and lamenting over the pain, surfing the wilds of the internet. Little did I know what lies ahead.

So lunchtime came and it was time to grab a bite from the nearest hawker center. Grabbing two tracts that came with the 30 in 30 initiative whereby each and everyone of us who participate will do our best to give out 30 tracts in one month and share the gospel, I headed off to get some food.

I had initially thought of giving the tracts to the hawker store's assistant but I was dismissed as soon as the transaction was over. Turning around, I prayed that He show me the way, that I know I am weak and have no courage to speak up to strangers but yet, I wish that someone will receive these tracts with the message of eternity that now rest in my pocket. I looked up and Lo and behold! A secondary school mate that I randomly met last month on the MRT train and exchanged handphone contacts with walked towards me! It was a brilliant moment where I can get to pass him the tracts. Alas, he was in a rush for lunch and work so we couldn't talked more. Nevertheless, the seeds have been scattered, I pray that he may read with a open heart and mind. All these would not have come to pass if I didn't agreed to troubleshoot a friends' laptop and as a result drank coffee with cold water which led to this morning's confinement at home and eventually straight to my secondary school mate who received the tracts! All Glory to Him forever and ever!

Attached is the August 30 in 30 initiative extracted from an email.
