Thoughts about the meeting

1. Even though he had a point, he was quick to smirk and sneer at the imperfect workings of the system regarding allocation of money by the committee.

2. Even though the issue was pertinent, it seems the 4 of the elders decided among themselves the votes regarding the issue, wouldn't this be 'ganging' up before the final vote? Shouldn't the votes be kept among themselves 1st? But perhaps it is to console the poor deacon who is having a tough time getting a consensus from the board of elders.
